Privacy Policy

Who we are

Runna provides local delivery software and logistics services connecting customers, restaurants, drivers, and operations staff.

Scope

This policy applies to the Runna website, customer app, driver app, restaurant-facing tools, and operations tools.

Information we collect

Runna does not store raw payment card numbers on its own servers when payments are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout.

  • Name, email address, phone number, and delivery address
  • Order contents, preferences, and account information
  • Payment-related metadata from Stripe
  • Restaurant and driver account information
  • Device, browser, and app usage data
  • Approximate or precise location data where relevant to delivery operations
  • Support and operational communications

How we use information

  • Create and manage accounts
  • Process orders, deliveries, and refunds
  • Provide live order tracking
  • Support restaurant dispatch and driver assignment
  • Communicate about orders, delays, and support
  • Improve reliability, safety, and product performance
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

Location information

If you use the driver app, Runna may process location data while the app is active to support dispatch, live tracking, routing, pickup confirmation, and operational safety.

If you use the customer app, Runna may process delivery-address and location-related data to verify whether an address is inside the Aspen delivery zone.

Payments

Payments are processed using Stripe. Stripe may collect payment information directly from customers. Runna receives only the transaction and payment-status information needed to operate the service.

Sharing of information

Runna does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term.

  • Restaurants, to fulfill an order
  • Drivers, to complete a delivery
  • Payment processors such as Stripe
  • Service providers that help host, support, or secure the platform
  • Legal authorities when required by law

Retention and security

We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve safety and operations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of certain uses of personal information.

Children and updates

Runna is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the effective date when we do.
